As an Essential Edge Consultant, Kris Starkman is engaged in a wide range of projects – from OSJ assessments and data remediation to independent AML exams and risk assessments for RIAs.
Prior to joining Essential Edge, Kris served as Chief Compliance Officer/AE Wealth Management, LLC at Adivsors Excel, where she oversaw compliance for the registered investment advisor and broker-dealer. Earlier in her career, Kris held increasingly responsible roles at Allianz Life Insurance of North America, Ameriprise Financial and American Express.
Kris has held the Series 6, 7, 24 and SIE securities licenses. She is a Certified Regulatory Compliance Professional (CRCP) and Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS).
