Marco joins Essential Edge from Independent Financial Group where, as Branch inspector and Compliance Analyst, he conducted firmwide branch inspections. While there, he played a key role in the restructuring of the inspection program, improving risk assessment processes and aligning procedures with regulatory requirements.
He helped improve the efficiency and long-term outcomes of the branch inspection program. Marco developed targeted remediation plans to address significant compliance findings, reduced repetitive audit issues, enhanced regulatory adherence and implemented process improvements to streamline audit operations.
By engaging in cross-functional collaboration with senior management and compliance teams, he helped drive strategic initiatives. In addition, Marco mentored junior auditors, enhanced team capabilities and ensured consistent application of compliance procedures.
Prior to joining Essential Edge, Marco served as a Compliance Auditor for General Dynamics Nassco.
Outside of compliance, Marco is passionate about continuous growth professionally and personally. He enjoys seeking opportunities to learn, improve, and take on meaningful challenges to harness his drive. He stays actives through boxing and training, which help him stay focused, balanced, and mentally sharp.
Above all, he is the proud father of an energetic 3-year-old daughter who is his greatest motivation. She keeps him grounded and is his daily reminder of what consistency and purpose really mean.
